Chris has served on staff at Champion Forest Baptist Church since 2001.  He has held many positions from IT Help Desk to his current role as Pastor of Operations and COO, leading the Administrative Global Support Team at CFBC.  Chris’ teams are responsible for Finance, HR, Communications, Production, IT, Data Services and Facilities.  During his time at CFBC, the church has grown from one campus to four with over 8,000 in weekly attendance. 

Chris builds systems and teams to support the vision of the CFBC leadership.  He brings a wide variety of experience and expertise to his problem-solving matrix, which allows him to come up with creative and out of the box solutions to complex “opportunities.”  One of his greatest joys is developing and mentoring young leaders while solving problems and building systems.

Before joining CFBC, Chris worked as a Senior Project Manager at a premier, nationwide design and development agency.  He also worked as Vice President of Service and Support for a large digital media company in Houston, Texas.  Chris is a graduate of the University of Houston.  He currently serves on the CO+OP Board and as an elected trustee for his home school district, Klein ISD.  He is married to his best friend, Katie, and they have two children, daughter Madison and son Joshua.  Their family feels there is no higher calling than serving God through the local church.
